Hello there,
I’m Clare Glade-Wright,
your new independent candidate
for the Legislative Council,
for Huon.
I’m running for the Legislative Council because I believe Tasmania needs more independent, community-focused voices in Parliament. The role of a Legislative Councillor is to review laws carefully, represent their community faithfully, and hold government to account for fair, efficient, and transparent decision-making. I want to bring that spirit of integrity, balance, and genuine local representation to the Legislative Council — ensuring that the voices of people in Huon are heard and respected in every decision that affects our state’s future.

Paul GadomskiClare took the time out of her busy schedule to come and meet with club stakeholders and understand the issues, opinions and suggestions from various people. Clare then went away and considered the arguments, she encouraged council staff and other elected members to also come and understand the issues themselves so that they could be better informed around the problems a particular council decision would cause within the community.
